A retro-fit from the ACC 140 to the Grass Nexis will require moderate woodworking skills or a skilled professional. A retro-fit will require filling old screw holes on the door and drilling neew screw holes. We don’t have a hinge/plate which provides the overlay that the ACC 140 did (1” to 1 1/8”). The frame will need to be notched out in oreder to accommodate the overlay. Screw holes for plate will need to be re-drilled.

120° Half Overlay Hinge

VERY IMPORTANTThe remaining FFAL base plates that are in the cabinets must be secured with all four screws to provide a secure attachment and longer life of the product. By securing with all four screws, you will substantially extend both the life of the base plate and the holding strength of the base plate. The FFAL plate was not designed to be attached to the cabinet with only two screws.

Please replace all the hinges and base plates on the door at the same time for opening and closing consistency. Select your replacement hinges and base plates from the list below.

While Grass makes every effort to recommend a hinge solution to match existing screw holes, sometimes new items will require filling old screw holes and drilling new screw holes.
